Ingredients

3-4lb roast beef, inside or outside round works great
1 pkg onion soup mix
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups cola or root beer
Place thawed roast beef in slow cooker.  Sprinkle roast with onion soup mix and salt & pepper. Pour cola/root beer alongside roast in slow cooker. Cover & cook on low 8-10 hours.
Once cooked, remove roast from slow cooker, and it will easily pull apart/shred with two forks. Proceed to shred entire roast. Then put it back into slow cooker on low.  
Proceed to sauce.

Pulled Beef Sauce
1 onion, chopped
3TBSP butter
1 bottle favorite  bbq sauce
salt & pepper taste
Sautee onion with butter until onion is translucent and tender. Add bbq sauce & spices, bringing to a boil, stirring. Once warmed, pour into slow cooker with shredded beef & mix. You can eat it right away, or let sit on low in the slow cooker until ready for you meal.
Pulled beef is absolutely delicious on a fresh bun and a dollop of horseradish or additional bbq sauce.
