From the Bar Z Kitchen


1 1/2 lbs round steak (or flank, or sirloin steak)
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 TBSP olive oil
1/2 tsp minced garlic
3/4 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup grated carrots
Chopped green onions & sesame seeds for garnish

Cut the steak into thin strips. Place in a ziploc bag and add cornstarch; shaking to coat beef. Add olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and carrots to slow cooker. Stir ingredients. Add coated round steak and stir again until coated in the sauce.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on high for 4-5, until cooked throughout and tender.
Great served with rice and garnish with green onions & sesame seeds.
